Google Docs adds new 450 fonts and 60 templates

One of Google products, Google Docs, which is an online word processing service has added new 450 fonts and 60 templates. How do they look like?

Google Docs is one of Google's online services. Besides Google Docs, another product, which is quite popular, Google Drive has been launched several times ago.

With Google Docs, you can process document whether text (Word), presentation (similar with Power Point) or spreadsheets (similar with Excel).

"In past few months, we have added some updates on Google Docs. And today, we announced one of big changes on Google Docs," Isabella, Google Docs Software Engineer wrote on Google Docs blog.

She continued that one of these big changes to support users' idea and creativity. Adding new 450 fonts and 60 templates, Google Docs will give something extra to them.

To use these new fonts, you just have to click "Font" menu (on Google Docs editing page) and choose Font Add on the bottom. Later, you will see various Google Web Fonts available on a new window that appears.
Then, you will see various interesting fonts like the ones you have on Microsoft Word such as Chau Philomene One, Averia Libre, Diplomata SC, Audiowide, Lovers Quarrel, and many more.

After you have decided which one you want, click the font and click OK to add those fonts to Google Docs editing page.

Read DJVU files with MacDJView for Mac

What is MacDJView

MacDJView is a free software to read DJVU files. It is created by Andrew Zhezherun who also created WinDjView, a DJVU reader for Windows that supports both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. DJVU is computer file format designed mainly to store scanned documents that contain text, graphic, photographs and drawing. Some people say that it’s a good alternative for PDF files since it provides better resolution quality, but with small sizes.


Well, MacDjView a simple DjVu viewer for Mac OS X, also with continuous scrolling. Indeed, this DJVU reader for Mac doesn’t give features as much as its sibling, WinDjView. But, it is a great free software to enjoy DJVU files in your Mac computer.

After trapped in some baiting and unrelated sites, finally I found some mobile pdf reader applications. Actually I only found two e-Books readers for mobile phones. And I’m sure that you’re familiar with these free applications :

JPDF Bookmarks

Create and Edit PDF Bookmarks.

Bookmark in this context is shortcut to important pages on an eBook (usually like shortcut pages that list on table of content). Usually, if you open an ebook, bookmark will appear on the left side (at least if you are using Foxit PDF reader). What is the benefit of creating a bookmark ?

Bookmark especially for ebooks with a lot of pages, will make the reader know the content of the eBooks and go to important pages on the eBooks as they want to. So, they don’t have to roll the pages and try to find pages that they want to read. Unfortunately, JPDF Bookmark can’t be used on an eBook that encrypted with password (usually for restrict the permission to change or modify the eBooks).

One Free Software, Handles PDF, XML, DJVU, CBR, CBZ etc

Microsoft assures that Office 2010 software will release in June 2010. Office 2010 will release with another related products. Online technology web site PCMag.com has written the review for Office 2010 which has release in the beta version on November 2009. The content of Office 2010 including the update version of Word application, Excel, Power Point and the other Office applications.

Magic Doc Creator 1.0.0.3

Free Portable Office Editor Software.

We usually use some paid office editors like Microsoft Word or free office editor like Open Office to edit our work or document like RVF , RTF or text files. But, Microsoft Word to expensive for some people ( it costs about $ 300  for Microsoft Office) and while Open Office has a big size to download and install. Magic Doc Creator is free and portable office editor which it only has 2,48 MB file size. But, because it’s free and portable, it has limitations in it’s features. Still, I think it is worth to try.
