Reportedly, Adobe has launched Flash Player 10.2 for Android. That flash player is meant for Android for tablet or Android 3.0.1 Honeycomb.
Flash Player 10.2 offers performance improvement from mobile side, the flash renewal is meant to bring flash to Android tablet computer such as Motorola Xoom.
Adobe said that it has collaborated with Google to integrate and optimize Flash Player 10.2, the newest OS and browser ability.
For now, Flash 10.2 for Android Honeycomb is still on beta version. And is planned that several weeks later, Adobe will launch Flash 10.2 for Android Honeycomb with GA's version, which has ability to accelerate the hardware and supports video.
The support for video and hardware acceleration already added by Flash Player 10.2 for desktop device which was launched last month. The technology increases HD video playback and enables content embed process on tablet devices.
Flash 10.2 for Android 2.2, 2.3 and 3.0.1 can be downloaded on Android Marketplace.
