I just found this infographic made by Titanium. It seems some security vendors start to create their products for social media sites. Those security products are meant to protect users from security threats that target Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, etc.
I think it's something make sense to create those products. On the infographic, Titanium explains how it collaborates with Facebook to protect us. Why Facebook?You can read a report about Top 10 Most Visited Websites in 2011 and Top 10 Most Popular Mobile Websites in 2011. Both mentioned that Facebook was popular destination that people visited on the Internet. It was the number 1 social network and the second most visited on mobile phone after Google.
The title of the infographic is Staying Safe in Social Media. It does explain the types of threats that mostly found on Facebook and their definitions. It also does explain how Titanium collects spam messages, malicious URL and malware. But, unfortunately it doesn't give an answer about how to stay safe in Social Media. But, it is still helpful. So, what do you think? Give us your opinions!
